Discover four centuries of local history at the Fraserburgh Heritage Centre, a family friendly attraction.
Sited in what was originally a barrel store, this award-winning museum is run by volunteers from Fraserburgh Heritage Society.
Discover the bustling quayside in the age of sail and explore a wealth of displays to interest every age.
Fraserburgh Heritage Centre illustrates the rich history of this north east Scotland fishing town which grew from a ‘mere creek’ to become Scotland’s premier herring port.

FRASERBURGH HERITAGE CENTRE WAS DEVASTATED BY STORM ARWEN IN NOVEMBER 2021 WHEN THE ENTIRE ROOF WAS RIPPED OFF LEAVING A MAJOR PART OF THE DISPLAYS EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS.
