Improve your wellness with Cullen Sea School’s water activities. Regardless of your level of confidence, experience or current skillset, water activities can be enjoyed by all. At Cullen Sea School, our skilled and experienced instructors will help you to improve, or even begin, your journey to finding a water activity that’s right for you.

There are Morning sessions, afternoon and evening. Online availability shown at time of booking.

Qualified instructor-led sessions are available in Cullen Harbour and subject to ability* and weather conditions in Cullen Bay.

The session prices includes instruction, buoyancy aids and all equipment hire.

Due to Covid-19, you are asked that you wear your own wet suits and shoes. Helmets and life jackets will still be available and sanitised over night.

They practise social distancing on and off the water at all times. The Sea School building will remain closed for now.

When selecting your ticket type please select whether you wish to use a kayak or paddleboard – this equipment cannot be shared during the session.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to session start time at the Harbour Beach by Seatown. Sessions last 45 minutes.

Maximum of 8 people per session.

Under 12’s & 7’s

Under 7’s must share a craft with an accompanying full paying adult (parent, guardian, carer) and children under 12 must be accompanied by a full paying adult (parent, guardian, carer) on the water.

Sessions are held in Cullen Harbour area depending on weather and tide and tailored to suit the age ability of participants.

* In order to go out of the harbour on either a SUP Paddle board or kayak during your session, instructors will assess your ability to be in open water. Beginners will not be able to go out of the harbour, you will need to be confident and be able to self-rescue. Going out of the harbour is also subject to there being appropriate sea and weather conditions.

Booking Information & Cancellation Policy

On confirmation of your booking you will see a confirmation notification and link to complete the Cullen sea School consent form. You will receive an email booking confirmation. Please check your junk folders if it is not in your inbox.

If you need to cancel your booked session with us please contact them  on [email protected] or by calling 01542 840830 during office hours.

We will do our best to accommodate your request subject to availability, weather conditions etc.  If we can re-sell your tickets we will refund you the full amount minus the payment processing fee.

If we have to cancel your session due to inclement weather we will either re-book you onto another session or provide you with a full refund.

The Northern Highlights Pass entitles the bearer to 10% discount off of current retail price on water sport activities at Cullen Sea School.

All bookings and payments must be made directly on the Cullen Sea School Distillery website. The code supplied with your pass will need to be entered in the checkout stage of the online booking.

Please note you cannot use The Northern Highlights Pass in conjunction with any other offer or Cullen Sea School Membership.

Set in the stunning countryside of Royal Deeside, Belwade Farm is the Aberdeenshire home of World Horse Welfare. Belwade is a great place to discover the charity’s work first hand and spend a day with the family.

Belwade Farm is home to around 65 horses in need at any one time. Here they can undergo rehabilitation before finding loving new homes through World Horse Welfare’s rehoming scheme. Be welcomed along to Belwade Farm the Scottish home to World Horse Welfare.

You will be introduced the charity within our conference room before heading round all local areas of the farm; some of which are not accessible to the general public!

Your dedicated tour guide has a wealth of knowledge to share with you throughout the experience.

The tour will last approximately an hour and a half, you will then visit Belwade Bistro for a delicious Scottish themed afternoon tea, where you will have the opportunity to chat through the experience with other attendees and ask any further questions that you may have.

Your tour guide will cover history, our international work, our campaigns, our work right here in the UK, the role of Belwade Farm, meeting the horses and much more.

Please attend wearing suitable clothing and footwear for the weather conditions on the day.

Full Price will be £19.50 per adult, £12.50 per child (12years and under), product not suitable for children 3years and under.

Product will be available to the general public at full price.

Belwade Farm reserves the right to cancel or postpone a tour in the event of severe weather conditions or other instance that may cause safety issues.

Participants are responsible for being at the facility before the start time.  We are unable to wait for late attendees so you would need to join in at whatever stage the tour was at when you arrived.

Belwade Farm accepts bookings online.  For groups larger than 20 or for groups that have any special requirements we ask you do your booking by telephone.  

Bookings are confirmed by email at time of booking and payment.

Ticket purchases become non refundable from 14 days before date booked.  If you choose to cancel before the 14th day you will be refunded minus our administration fee.  Cancellations should be made in writing by email or letter by the person who made the booking.

Belwade Farm will provide a safety brief to all attendees before visiting the farm.  Participants must comply with safety instruction provided.
