So much to choose from over 20 activities set in the stunning Cairngorms landscape. Not enough time in a day to do all the adventure time you wish? Then use your Northern Highlights Pass discount on your accommodation booking too. Simply let the staff know when you pre book.
Deposit: a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. No booking can be considered confirmed until this deposit has been received by Craggan Outdoor Activities Ltd, trading as Craggan Outdoors, & a receipt / booking confirmation has been provided to you.
Payment of balance: this should be received by Craggan Outdoors a minimum of 30 days prior to your arrival date, unless otherwise agreed. An early full payment discount of 5% is offered subject to full payment being received 90 days prior to arrival date, or 2.5% discount if full payment is received 60 days prior to arrival date. Failure to pay your balance by 14 days prior to your arrival date may result in your booking being cancelled, with no refund of deposit being available.
Cancellation: 25% deposit is non-refundable. If a booking that has been paid in full is cancelled 90 days or more prior to the booked date of arrival at Craggan Outdoors, a 75% refund will be given; 50% refund if cancelled 61-89 days prior to arrival date; 25% refund if cancelled 31-60 days prior to arrival date; no refund if cancelled within 30 days or less of arrival date. Cancellation conditions will be applied pro rata if a group booking is reduced in numbers once balance payment has been made. We recommend that participants have appropriate travel insurance to cover against loss of money that will occur as a result of cancellation.
Amendment: if wishing to change the dates of a booking, whether confirmed with a deposit or paid in full, this may be done at the discretion of Craggan Outdoors, subject to the accommodation / activities originally booked being available on the revised date(s) requested. Craggan Outdoors reserves the right to apply an administration fee in these circumstances. If the client does not accept any alternative date(s) that are offered as being available, the situation will be treated as a cancellation.
Adverse weather conditions: in the event of adverse weather conditions requiring Craggan Outdoors to postpone any pre-booked activity sessions on the grounds of participant & instructor safety, a full credit for the postponed activity/activities will be given, & a future date for the activity session(s) to be rescheduled will be mutually agreed. This credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of the postponed session(s). The other option that may be mutually agreed is that an alternative activity / activities be substituted for the postponed activity / activities, & that this / these take place on the original booking date. No refund or change is applicable under these circumstances.

Craggan Outdoors offer good value, comfortable accommodation for groups from two to sixty people in two bunkhouses and a bothy. Glenbeg Bunkhouse (27 beds) Glenbeg Bothy (6 beds), along with a 4-bed summerhouse that is used spring to autumn, are located side-by-side in a secluded and picturesque spot at the top of the Glenbeg Estate. Ardenbeg Bunkhouse (23 beds) is located on a quiet road in Grantown-on-Spey.
Set in the stunning countryside of Royal Deeside, Belwade Farm is the Aberdeenshire home of World Horse Welfare. Belwade is a great place to discover the charity’s work first hand and spend a day with the family.
Belwade Farm is home to around 65 horses in need at any one time. Here they can undergo rehabilitation before finding loving new homes through World Horse Welfare’s rehoming scheme. Be welcomed along to Belwade Farm the Scottish home to World Horse Welfare.
You will be introduced the charity within our conference room before heading round all local areas of the farm; some of which are not accessible to the general public!
Your dedicated tour guide has a wealth of knowledge to share with you throughout the experience.
The tour will last approximately an hour and a half, you will then visit Belwade Bistro for a delicious Scottish themed afternoon tea, where you will have the opportunity to chat through the experience with other attendees and ask any further questions that you may have.
Your tour guide will cover history, our international work, our campaigns, our work right here in the UK, the role of Belwade Farm, meeting the horses and much more.
Please attend wearing suitable clothing and footwear for the weather conditions on the day.

Belwade Farm reserves the right to cancel or postpone a tour in the event of severe weather conditions or other instance that may cause safety issues.
Participants are responsible for being at the facility before the start time. We are unable to wait for late attendees so you would need to join in at whatever stage the tour was at when you arrived.
Belwade Farm accepts bookings online. For groups larger than 20 or for groups that have any special requirements we ask you do your booking by telephone.
Bookings are confirmed by email at time of booking and payment.
Ticket purchases become non refundable from 14 days before date booked. If you choose to cancel before the 14th day you will be refunded minus our administration fee. Cancellations should be made in writing by email or letter by the person who made the booking.
Belwade Farm will provide a safety brief to all attendees before visiting the farm. Participants must comply with safety instruction provided.
